THE WINTER SHOW.
Attention is called to the closing date of entries for the thirty-second National Dairy Show, which is to bo held at the Palmerston North Showgrounds on the 13th, 14th, 15th and lbth June next. Liberal prizes have been allocated to the various classes and exhibitors may rest assured that their efforts will be well rewarded. Classes arc of a wide and varied nature, ranging from fat stock to model aeroplanes. The womenfolk aro specially well catered for and classes for needlework, pickles, knitting, cooking, and preserves, etc., enable them to display their handiwork and at the same time compete for prizes -which make the exhibits remunerative. King events also form one of the Show’s main attractions and this year thoso old rivals, To Aute Native Bovs’ College and Palmerston _ North Boys’ High School, will once again cross swords. The entries in all classes with the exception of . poultry, rabbits and cats close to-morrow. The entries for poultry, rabbits, and cats close on Thursday, May 31. Schedules for all classes may be had free on application to the secretary, Mr W. T. Penny, P.O. box 85, Palmerston North.
