SENTENCES AT NAPIER. Per Press Association. NAPIER, May 24. In the Supreme Court this morning, for assault and attempting # to alarm persons in a dwelling by discharging explosives, Stanley Jordan Madden was returned to the care of the Child Welfare Department, Ronald Herbert Floyd and Robert Floyd received 3 years’ probation, and a juvenile, whose name was suppressed, was placed under the supervision of the child welfare officer. For forgery and uttering, James Ogden Alexander was sentenced to 12 months’ imprisonment.
