SIX OVERS BOWLED

LARWOOD’S FIRST EFFORT. (United Press Association —By Electric Telegraph—Copyright.) Received April 20, 9.30 a.m. LONDON, April 19. Larwood bowled six overs at -Trent Bridge,, only taking a run of six paces instead of his usual nineteen. His action was perfectly easy. Larwood wore special boots and his foot seemed to work quite naturally. There was no sign of stiffness. Lanvood sa.id: “If the ground bad been harder, I should have been tempted to go all out. Now I have had the first bowl I shall gradually increase my pace until it is normal.”
