LAMB PRICES EASIER. Lamb, lower; ■wethers and ewes, no change; market steady. The foregoing cable advice was received to-day by M. A. Eliott, Ltd., from Gordon, Woodroffe and Co., Ltd., London. LONDON WOOL SALES. The Bank of New. South Wales has received the following cable message from its London office, dated April 18:—London wool sales: Despite probability of no Gorman competition, it lias been decided to open sories on May 1. German action uncertain, but will probably affect prices. TAIHAPE SALE. Dalgety and Co., Ltd., report having held their usual fortnightly stock sale at Taihape on Wednesday. There was a good attendance of local and outside buyers. A heavy yarding of sheep and a fair entry of cattle were offered. The cheep met with good competition throughout the sale; the cattle were difficult to quit, quite a few lots being passed. They quote: Ewe lambs, 12s 5d to 18s lid: w.f. lambs, 10s 2d to 18s Id; b.f. lambs, 15s to 21s 9d; small ditto, 12s; two-tooth wethers, 17s 2d to 225; fat ewes, 17s 6d and 23s 6d; fat steers, £4; 2i-yr steers, £3 and £3 ss; store heifers, £3 12s 6d; dairy heifers, £4 103. j
