MISS ROSEMARY GOLDIE, an 18-year-old blonde, who was the most brilliant woman student in first-year arts at Sydney University last year. Miss Goldie gained high distinction in English, French and Latin. English is her strongest subject and she has been awarded the Symon scholarship for English literature, the MacCallum prize for English literature, and the University Women Graduates’ Association prize for essays. She hopes to obtain her B.A. degree next year. She is the daughter of the well-known writer, Dulcie Deamer.
