ART UNION ALLOCATION.

Per Press Association. WELLINGTON, April 20. I fhe Minister for Internal Affairs (Hno. J. A. Young) to-day announced the following allocations of the proceeds of the Lucky Cat art union which closed last Saturday :—Relief of distress throughout the Dominion, £SOOO ; Oliristchurqh R.S.A. Cottage Settlement Scheme (for returned soldiers unable, through disabilities, to obtain or remain in employment) carrying a pound for pound subsidy, £2500;, Westland Hospital Board, £250; Napier Y.M.C.A. (earthquake loss), £750; Otago Children’s Health Camp Association, £250; making a total of £8750.
