TO-MORROW’S FIXTURES.
To-morrow there will he race meetings at various points of the Dominion, the Marton, Nelson, and South Canterbury Club 3 being engaged, while the Whangarei Club will conclude its fixture which opened yesterday. The attention of local enthusiasts will he centred in the Marton meeting, where fields of good dimension promise an interesting day’s sport. Tho introduction of tho steeplechase season along this coast will, in itself, attract lovers of the cross country performers. The opening event is sot down for noon and patrons will be catered for by the running of a special train leaving from Palmerston North at 10.8 a.m. Horses in form which should give good accounts of themselves are:—Novioo Stakes.—Boudoir, Grand Joy, Balbus.
