MILDER CONDITIONS LIKELY. Per Press Association. WELLINGTON, April 19. An anti-cyclone of slight intensity covers the eastern Tasman Sea and New Zealand. There are indications of the development of a cyclonic depression on the New South Wales const. The forecast is for light southerly winds, but later tending to northerly. The weather will be fine and cool, but milder tomorrow, with seas moderate. MANAWATU RIVER GAUGE. Noon.—lft.
