£2goo DURING TOUR. "WAIHT, April 16. The AVaihi Borough Council received at its last meeting an application from the secretary of AVirth’s Circus for a reduction of the fee charged (£5) when the circus was at AVaihi. The writer stated that the expenses amounted to £l7O per day, and that the recent tour in New Zealand had resulted in a loss of £2500. During the last four years there had been a total loss of £40,000 It was decided to reply that the council regretted it could not accede to the request.
