CANTERBURY PARK MEETING. SYDNEY, April 15. For the Canterbury Park races yesterday the track was heavy. The Maiden Welter Handicap, six furlongs, first division, resulted:' —Colenso, 9.9 (A. E. Ellis) 1- Wairuna, 8.0 (O’Sullivan) 2; Top Royal, 7.12 (Cook) 5. Twelve started. Head. Time, 1.19. . TT Persian ran second in the Flying Handicap. which was won by Loyal Verde, with Alucas third. CAULFIELD RACES. MELBOURNE. April 15. At the Caulfield races the following were the principal results:— Glen Iluntly Handicap. One mile and a quarter.- —Segati, 7.8 (Box) 1: Excelic, 7.5, 2- Kirrowur, 7.4. 5. Fifteen started, including Ruling Light. Three lengths. Time, 2 Khartoum Hurdles. Two miles and 65 yards—Our Comet, 10.7 (Hynes) 1; Nyeriini'ang, 11.0, 2; Sarokos, 10.2, 3. Nine started. Seven lengths. Time, 3.37 L a course record.
