Tourist trade in Austria decreased sharply during 1933. Figures relating to 130 foreign tourist resorts covering the June-September period show that the number of visitors from abroad arriving at these points totalled 906,000, a figure one-third less than that recorded in 1932. \ lenna showed the smallest loss of visitors, only 7 per cent., while the Province of ‘Tyrol registered the heaviest loss, with a drop of 54.5 per cent.
