RIFLE SHOOTING

ASHHURST DEFENCE CLUB.

The Aslihurst Defence Rifle Club held the usual weekly shoots last Wednesday and Saturday, both days being fine, with very little wind to affect the shooting, though the light at times was very hazy. The shooting of the past few weeks has shown a marked improvement, especially at the 300yds range. The various aggregates are being keenly contested and the handicap aggregate is at a very interesting stage. The conditions of the shoots are the best six scores of the last eight recorded over eleven weeks shooting. Tho Wodnesday men have four shoots to go and the Saturday squad three.
