LORD TYRELL’S FAREWELL. (British Official “Wireless.) RUGBY, April 5. Lord Tyrell, the retiring British Ambassador, was given a farewell reception at. the British Embassy in Paris to-day. The British colony are presenting Lord Tyrrell with a moroccobound book bearing his coat-of-arms and containing the names of the subscribers to a number of farewell gifts.
MINISTER AT BANGKOK
(British Official Wireless.) RUGBY, April 5. The King has approved the appointment of Sir Josiali Crosby, British Minister at Panama, to be His Majesty’s Envoy Extraordinary 7 and Minister Plenipotentiary at Bangkok, in succession to Mr E. F. Former. Sir Josiah Crosby 7 began his diplomatic career in Siam, and lias previously served in Bangkok as Vice-Consul in 1911 and acting Consul-General, 1919-20.
