HOLIDAY FOR POPE.

TWO MONTHS IN COUNTRY. The Pope will go to the country after Ascension Hay (May 10) for a summer holiday of two months. He will stay at the Papal Villa, at Caste l-Gandolfo, in the Alban Hills, 13 miles from Rome, and live like a country gentleman, daily, visiting the adjoining Papal farm. Only a few prelates and a detachment of Swiss Guards to do duty in the ante-chamber will accompany the Pope. The villa was the regular Papal summer resort until 1870, when the Vatican broke with the Italian Government.
