THE COMPANIES’ ACT.

DIFFICULT OF INTERPRETATION. Per Press Association. WELLINGTON, March 22. Some sections of the recently-enacted Companies Act give rise to a difference of opinion on the interpretation, according to a statement at a meeting of the executive and investigation committee of the New Zealand Society, of Accountants. It was stated to be important that doubtful matters be cleared up definitely as soon as possible.

A sub-committee was appointed to confer with the Registrar of Companies and take action to prevent misunderstanding of certain puzzling sections of the Act.
