11r Benge, postmaster, is at present indisposed. Air A. K Twist, an inmate of the Palmerston North Hospital, undergone a successful operation. The WeraroaOtaki cricket match at Otaki on Saturday was won bv the former, 146 runs to 110. The rainfall on Friday and Saturday totalled over two inches. Air Blair, ie Horo, left on Saturday by- the ltnahine on a trip to England. Air Harry Alpe, who left here on Saturday morning at 7 o’clock on a walk to Wellington, reached Ins destination at 5 o’clock.
