At the Napier. Caledonian Sports on Saturday last Miss Jean Scott, of Ferguson Street, Palmerston North, was successful in gaining second in the Reel o’ Tulloch (open) and second in tlie sailors’ hornpipe (open). Her pupils were also successful: Claude Henderson, first ' Highland fling (boys under 14) and first Irish jig (12 and under. 14); Ethne Heir.mingsen, second Irish Jig (14 and under 16); Pat Over first Highland reel, first sword dance, first sailors’ hornpipe and second Irish jig (12 years and under 14).
