STAVISKY SWINDLE.
CABINET MINISTERS NAMED. LONDON, March 13. The Paris correspondent of the British United Press reports _ that Stavisky’s secretary, Romagnino, giving evidence before the examining magistrate yesterday, named the following as having been in close connection with the swindler: M. Pierre Cot (ex-Minister of Air), M. Henri Queuille (Minister of Agriculture), M. Flandin (Minister of Public Works), M. Louis Serre (ex-Min-ister of Commerce), and M. Georges Julien (ex-Director of the Surete Generale). , „ He adds that Stavisky frequently entertained these and other high officials, and was in close touch with the Tardieu and Chautemps Governments. Romagnino said: “I am charged with distributing seven to eight million francs to various politicians, ihis is untrue, because the politicians in question would not accept the intervention of a third party.” EXHUMATION OF BODY. IpARIS, March 12. M. Prince’s body was exhumed at Dijon and sent to Paris. M Prince was found on a railway track, having apparently been murdered to prevent his throwing light on the Stavisky case.
