At the wool sales 9264 bales were catalogued, including 5397 from New Zealand, and approximately 7410 were sold. There was a liberal supply of crossbreds, which met with good Home and Continental demand at recent rates.

Scoured Merinos from New Zealand, branded “Aviemore,” reached 36Jd and averaged 34Jd. Victorian lambs’ wool brought 39fd. Bradford tops are firm, with moderate business.
