CUP TO MASTER BRIERLY. SPRINT WON BY STAR ARTIST. Per Press Association. TE AROHA, Feb. 25. Beautiful weather prevailed for the opening day of the Te Aroha Jockey Club’s annual meeting. Master Brierly scored an easy victory in the Cup; in the open sprint Star Artist gained the victory by the narrowest margin. The totalisator handled £25,629 10s, as against £24,264, an increase over the first day last year of £1365 10s. Results:
