BEEF INDUSTRY.
CHILLED PROCESS TRADE. Received January 25, 11.25 a.m. LONDON, Jan. 24. The Yorkshire Post expects that developments in the Australian trade will follow the Angliss-Weddel chilled beef merger, the full success of which depends upon the developments of the gas chilled process. The Daily Express understands that the secret behind Angliss’s merger is their perfection of a new method of preserving beef, samples of which received here have been considered highly satisfactory.
