SUGGESTED PROVISION OF RADIO BEACONS.-Installation by the Marine Department of radio beacons at Cape Brett, Mokohinau Tiritiri and Cuvier Islands to aid in the navigation of vessels approaching the Hauraki Gulf has been recommended by the Auckland Harbour Board. Cape Maria van Diemen, shown here, possesses the only radio beacon along the coast. This was installed in 1926.
