I HEREBY give notice that in accordance with Section 11 of “The Local Bodies Loans Act, 1926,” “The Local Elections and Polls Act, 1925) and its amendments, separate Polls •will be taken on WEDNESDAY, the 6th day of December, 1933, to decide whether the following Special Loans shall be carried:1. A Loan of £6OOO for the purpurpose of enabling the Palmerston North City Council to provide its proportion of the cost of the re-construction of the Fitzherbert Bridge, including approaches thereto, over the Manawatu River, on the Palmerston North-Levin Main Highway in the Kairanga County. A Loan of £19,000 for the purpose of enabling the Palmerston North City Council to provide Relief Works for the Unemployed by carrying out Stormwater Drainage, Construction of Culverts and general Street Improvements within the City, and Tree Planting within and beyond the boundaries of the City.
