HEAVYWEIGHT BOXING.

HARVEY BEATS PETERSEN. LONDON, Nov. 30. In the British heavyweight boxing championship in which Len Harvey outpointed Jack Petersen, the holder, the winner gave a splendid display. Harvey is the veteran of nearly 400 fights and has not yet been knocked out. He has only been dpwned five times in his career, including once in the first round. In his fight he was too experienced, critics state, for Petersen.

The Times says it was the greatest fight seen at Albert Hall, and ended with both fighting like ■ madmen in the middle of the ring.
