POETIC JUSTICE.

SWASTIKAS PAINTED ON COWS. An instance of poetic justice is reported from Sladming, where an unknown person painted swastikas on cows belonging to an anti-Nazi farmer, says a Vienna message. The police rounded up the district’s most active Nazis and compelled them, in the proportion of one Nazi to one cow, to reipove the paint, and also clean the farmer’s stables.

Already there are a number of instances in Austria of Nazis, irrespective of whether they are known to be guilty, being compelled to remove swastikas illegally painted on public buildings and elsewhere.
