BAN ON PUBLICITY. The Church of England Assembly, after a discussion of the Stiff key case, adopted a proposal to restrict the publication of reports of cases in the Consistory Court in which clergymen are accused of immorality. Rev. Harold Davidson, formerly rector of Stiffkey, Norfolk, after a sensational trial by the Consistory Court, was found guilty 1 of immoral conduct, and degraded and deposed from his offices of priest and deacon.
