DE YALERAITE ARRESTED. Received December I, 1.20 p.m. DUBLIN, Nov. 30. “Newry has a peculiar way of preserving peace during the Ulster elections,” was the Dail member, Mr Donnelly’s, comment on his arrest following a meeting at Newry when supporting Mr De Valera’s candidature. Mr Donnelly was arrested as he had entered Ulster in violation of the exclusion older.

The police made a baton charge on crowds seeking to release him.
