DAMAGE BY FIRE. Received November 30, 8.5 a.m. SYDNEY, Nov. 30. A fire at Taubman’s varnish factory at the St. Peter’s suburb yesterday caused £IO,OOO worth of damage, ruining one of the finest plants in the Commonwealth.
