LIVE CATTLE.

CANADIAN EXPORTS TO BRITAIN. The increasing exports of live Canadian cattle to Britain, on which there are no restrictions, are disturbing British agriculturists, who contend that the restrictions on exports from the Argentine and from other countries are thus nullified. Live cattle from Canada are already coming to Birkenhead and Glasgow, hut a recent shipment of 500 from Montreal was the first to London since the war. The Port of London Authority is equipping Tilbury Docks with accommodation for 3000 cattle, which accommodation it has leased to a company intending to bring 1000 cattle a week from Canada.
