RICCARTON MURDER
EXTENSION OF ACTIVITY. - MANY PUZZLING FEATURES. Per Press Association. CHRISTCHURCH, Nov. 20. In the belief that the murderer of Mr Donald Fraser may have used a car or motor cycle after, firing the fatal shots, the police investigations of the Riccarton mystery have now been widened to cover all the South Island and even part of the North Island. , The crime presents many puzzling features, not the least of which is the inability of Mr Fraser’s friends to throw any light on the possible motive. At present, in fact, it is one of the niost baffling mysteries in the history of New Zealand'crime.
