WIRELESS INSTALLATIONS.

EXPENDITURE IN HOPITALS. Advice was received by the Palmerston North Hospital Board, yesterday afternoon, that all repairs and maintenance of wireless installations in hospitals were regarded as unauthorised expenditure. The managing-secretary expressed the opinion that this expenditure should be regarded as •of an ordinary nature and should be permitted as a maintenance charge.' It was decided to refer the matter to the Hospital Boards’ Association with a request that steps be taken to secure an alteration to the existing legislation dealing with the matter.
