FALL DOWN CLIFF.

MAN’S NECK BROKEN. Per Press Association. WANGANUI, Nov. 20. Falling 80 feet over a steep papa cliff into the AVanganui River, a feWi miles above Parakino, this morning, Mr James AVilliamson, aged 23, a single man, of Trentham, broke his neck and died instantly. He had dismounted from his horse and was standing on a narrow sheep track unhooking some slip rails. It is considered that he either lost his footing or his horse bumped into him causing him to lose his balance. His work-mate, Air Ernest McKinley, who was following about 100 yards behind, on arriving at the rails saw Mr Williamson lying at the foot of the cliff. The body was taken to the opposite side, of the river and then brought into AVanganui.
