LUKEWARM TO NAZIS. f MUNICH, Nov. 20. i The Premier of Bavaria (Herr Sie* bert) deplored the Catholic Church’s lack of enthusiasm toward Herr Hitler and complained that the Barvarian bishop’s manifesto is lukewarm regarding Nazi achievements, also the Catholic dignitary’s declaration that he could not serve the Reich wholeheartedly owing to its anti-Catholic measures. versary was celebrated on Sunday, 3000 members of the Pastors’ Emergency League warned their congregations of a possible conflict unless thos® responsible were immediately removed from ecclesiastical office, the pastors declaring that heathenism had irrupted the German Church. They reaffirmed their belief in the entire Bible as the sole guide to faith and appealed to members to stand together.
