QUEEN AMUSED.
BULL IN A CHINA SHOP. While Queen Mary, accompanied by the Princess Royal (Princess Mary), was shopping in Fakenliam (Norfolk), where they were driven from Sandringham, a bullock, frightened by the traffic, entered the <jhina department near Her Majesty. Shop assistants hastily intercepted the animal, and drove it into the street before any damage was done. The Queen was much amused, and remarked to the proprietor: “I have heard of a bull in a china shop, but I have never seen one before.”
