THE WHEAT INDUSTRY.
ORGANISATION DIRECTORS,

The election of directors of tho two organisations which govern tho wheat industry of New Zealand was hold today. A choice was made by the Electoral Coimfiittee recently elected by postal ballot, in which 8000 wheatgrowers took part. Four wheatgrower directors of tho Wheat Marketing Agency Co.. Ltd., were elected as follows: Messrs James Carr (Methven), A. Grant (Waimate), W. W. Mulholland (Darficld), H. E. Nicoll (Ashburton). Seven provisional directors of the new wheatgrowers’ organisation, to ho known as the United Wheat Growers of New Zealand, Ltd., were elected a.s follows: Messrs James Carr (Methven), A. Craig (Balclutlia), A. Fisher (Culvcrden), A. Grant (Waimate), R. T. McMillan (Irwoll), W. W. Mulholland (Darficld), H. F. Nicoll (Ashburton). There were seven nominations for four directors of tho Wheat Marketing Agency Co., Ltd., and 17 norninatans for tho provisional directorate of the United Wheat Growers’. Nominations to the Wheat Research Institute were Messrs Mulholland, Carr and P. R. Talbot (Claremont).
