OFFICE SALARIES
EDUCATION BOARD’S RESTORATION. Per Press Association. AUCKLAND, Nov. 1. The Auckland Education Board has decided to restore the last salary cut imposed on the office staff, namely 10 per cent, for seniors and 5 per cent, tor juniors. The chairman said that the hoard had been influenced by the staff’s efficiency, by a comparison of salaries with those paid by smaller boards, and by the fact that reorganisation had increased the work of the staff while resulting in such a saving that the cut could be restored. The salaries are still subject to the original 10 per cent, cut.
