SOCIALISM.
(To the Editor.) Sir,—“Citizen” need not be perplexed about who will displace the sitting member at next election, whether it be Labour, Independent, or our worthy Mayor. There will be no difference as they all believe in capitalism and will sup'poi-t it, knowing full well that under the iron law of machine production competition is the liie of trade and the scrap heap for the worker and all unsuccessful capitalists. The unemployed need lose little sleep knowing that those who thought and voted for capitalism are getting a taste of their own medicine. The Socialists and Communists believe in educating the people to think for themselves, and will when the masses are ready socialise industrv for service to mankind. Karl Marx, bur teacher, has left us a wonderful work and if wc are not prepared to accept it we must suffer for ever.— I am, etc., SOCIALIST.
