BURMA’S CONSTITUTION.
ADDITIONS TO COMMITTEE,
CONSIDERATION OF POSITION.

An invitation by tho Secretary of State for India (Sir Samuel Hoaro) to join tho delegation from Burma for a consultation on tho question of the futuro Constitution of Burma has been accepted by twelve representative persons. Tlioy include seven Barmans, ono European, one Anglo-Indian, two Indians and ono woman, and they are expected to assemble in London early in December to join tho Select Committee on Indian Constitutional reforms. Tlie Select Committee will cease to exist when tho present session of Parliament which created it, comes to an end. The committee will probably be reconstructed when the now session opens on November 21. It is anticipated that tho new delegates will then bo associated with tho committee in the samo way as tho Indians during recent months. 1
Tho new delegates compriso advocates and opponents of separation from India.
