ADVOCACY IN BRITAIN. • LONDON, Oct. 29. The Weekly Dispatch says that a group of religious leaders, including Lord Wolmer, Major Grattan-Doyle, Lord Hugh Cecil, the Bishops of Exeter and St. Albans, and Lady Winefrede Elwes, alarmed at the falling birth-rate of the middle-class people in Britain, have formed a League of National Life to urge bigger families.
