(From Our Own Correspondent.) FOXTON, Oct. 30. The recent frost devastated parts of the Manawatu district. Market gardeners have been heavy losers. In one instance near Foxton a gardener who anticipated supplying Wellington with green peas within the next few days lost ten acres of this crop over night. The plants are now rotting on the ground.
