BANKING AFFAIRS.
CITIZENS AROUSED. Received October 30, 11.40 a.m. NEW YORK, Oct. 29. A Lapeer (Michigan) message states that local residents are aroused 'over the continued attrition of then- funds being held in the closed banks. Tlie conservator of one State bank is being held on trial for the alleged defalcation of 4000 dollars after the bank was ordered to be closed and today another County- savings bank, recently shut, was raided by bandits, who escaped with a sum estimated at 2000 dollars.
