LARGE DAMAGES.
FATHER OF STUDENT. VANCOUVER, Oct. 28. Damages amounting to 56,000 dollars have been awarded to Air Edward Howlett, father of Armand Howlett, a student, against the University, in the Supreme Court at Edmonton. The boy became permanently insane as a result of “hazing” by stiidents, in the course of which lie was divested of his clothing and dragged naked through the University corridors.
