Consignments were chiefly drawn from the Taihape. Manawatu, Wanganui and Hawera districts. The sluns were not up to the standard of previous sales, being of inferior quality and light furred. The firm passed the majority of the catalogue. but made eome sales by private treaty afterwards. Considering the poorer quality (and results from the Home market not being too reassuring), values were satisfactory, and very little below previous quotations.
