MISSING BOMBER’S FATE.

RECOVERY OF WRECKAGE. CRASH NEAR HARTLEPOOL. Received September 29, 1.50 p.m. LONDON, Sept. 28. The fate of the missing bomber has been determined by the recovery of the wreckage in the sea near Hartlepool. The occupants were Flight-Sergeant Christian and Corporal Lends. It is presumed that they lost their lives. Spectators 011 the beach reported that the bomber was flying so low that it compelled them to duck. It circled uncertainly and then disappeared seawards in a fog. A crash was heard a few seconds later.
