In conjunction with the Foxton Blethodist Church carnival and bazaar effort to raise funds for tho church, an advertising and horticultural display was Held in the Town Hall, Foxton, on Tuesday afternoon. At a meeting of the committee .held on Blonday evening it was decided to hold the official opening of the local green on Saturday, October 7, at 2 p.m. Thanks are due to Messrs James Newth, W. Howe, H. Chalk and others for their work in the preparation of the green.
