Dantou declares that while he is president of the French Rugby Federation there will be no relations with British professionals. He explains that he was previously misquoted. A message published on Monday stated that the pesident of .the Rugby Federation had announced the resumption of relations with Britain. An Anglo-Frenoh match was likely in London in March. The Daily Tolegraph’s Rugby critic expressed the opinion that the president of the French Federation was merely optimistic in announcing the resumption of relations with the British Rugby Union. lie pointed out that the rupture was due to the veiled professionalism of France.
