THE HINKLER MONUMENT. (United Press Association —By Electric Telegraph— Received September 18, 11.55 a.m. AREZZO, Sept. 17. At the Hinkler memorial ceremony, Mr Stevens Pearks addressed tlie assembly expressing the thanks of the British and Australian Governments and the Hinkler family. Two aeroplanes from the Arezzo airport circled during the ceremony. Mr Stevens Pearks visited the Fascist home at Stradn, where the propeller of Squadron-Leader Hinkler’s machine is preserved. He had a lengthy talk with the charcoal burners who first discovered the wrecked machine.
