LONDON INTEREST.
SOUTHLAND POWER BOARD. I Per Press Association. I INVERCARGILL, Sept. 15. The : amount of its half-yearly interest to London bondholders, £41,350, was paid t-6 the bank to-day by the Southland Power Board. When converted into its sterling equivalent in London the amount will represent only £33,000, and the Government has announced its intention of paying the difference, £8250, thus enabling the bondholders to: receive the full amount.
