CLASH IN PUNJAB.
Received September 16 1.55 p.m. CALCUTTA Sept. 15. Fifteen were killed and 50 seriously injured in a clash between armed raiders and villagers near Ambala, in the Punjab. A gang raided the house of a rich moneylender at midnight and decamped with 'a big haul of money and jewels. They were attacked by the villagers but after heavy firing the raiders fled to the jungle.
