LOCAL MOTORIST CHARGED

WELLINGTON, Sept. 13. Stanley Frank Lincoln was charged before Mr E. Page, S.M., to-day with negligent driving so as to cau*b death. The accident occurred on the night of May 21, when defendant was driving hack to Palmerston North. Ho attempted to cross the railway at Porirua, his wife and four-year-old daughter, and Mrs Gaskin and Miss Enright, losing their lives. Evidence is proceeding on the lines given at the inquest.
